Madden 10 iPhone App: where football dreams come true

My first experience with Madden in any format was the stuff of dreams.

I just piloted my beloved New York Jets to a perfect 19-0 season this past week, capped off by a 51-10 thrashing of the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl, which was played in a stadium that started off looking like Landshark Stadium and then somehow metamorphosed into the Meadowlands at kickoff.

And what a season it was, with rookie of the year Mark Sanchez throwing 29 TDs to ZERO interceptions and NFL MVP Thomas Jones scoring 32 TDs.

And a typical opposing QB’s day was completing 10 of 35 passes.

The closest game was a 38-35 shootout with New England in week 2. The supreme level of absurdity was reached when 91 points were laid on the Oakland Raiders.

This $10 app really looks and sounds great. It might get a little boring after awhile playing against an AI that makes Rich Kotite look like Bill Belichick.
